The Cetaphil Daily Advamced Ultra Hydrating Cream, 8oz. is the latest product from Cetaphil. It also comes in a lotion form, 16 fl.oz. My skin has been becoming more sensitive through the years and as a result I was constantly on the lookout for facial care products for sensitive skin. I've tried lots of products and have spent more than I care to admit but I had heard about this cream and knew of the Cetaphil product line so I decided to try it. I should also mention that my skin is also dry and prone to itchy red patches on my cheeks which have driven me crazy this winter.This cream is especially formulated for dry and sensitive skin types ONLY. After cleansing I spritzed my face and neck with distilled h2o as normal tap h2o irritates my skin from the additives the city puts in the drinking water. my skin immediately absorpted the cream and left my face feeling very soft, not irritated at all, and calm. I have used this cream for three days now and my dry, sensitive skin improves... I am amazed to find this one lotion is exactly what I need to replace all other lotions and creams! I've bought fancy smelly stuff and expensive top shelf organic products but couldn't find the right ones to stick with. This is it! This goes on nicely and feels good and hydrates my skin.I even wear this under makeup! For me.., it's a night and day cream, body, face, and hand cream. It's well worth the $7.00 to $10.00 a tube.., especially since I won't be wasting money on all those other products. FINALLY! I'll have way, way less products in the bathroom from now on. It even CURED dry elbows! I have good results with this lotion and it feels so natural on my skin .., like I'm not wearing anything extra. I would have preferred there was a nice fragrance to it but since it's hypoallergenic so there is no scent at all. The beneficial results though can't be denied. I had terrible excema on my eye lids and tried all sorts of expensive products and my dermatologist suggested that I try this on my eye lids and it worked! I apply it twice a day and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I then noticed that it works perfectly as an eye makeup remover and much better than ANY expensive eye make-up remover that I've tried.So, *****best eye hydration and best eye make-up remover. I don't use it on my entire face because its pretty thick but I imagine if you didn't have oily skin it would be good for entire face. |
